Family Therapy

Family — or anyone the person in treatment considers important in their life — plays a vital role in recovery from addiction. Family therapy helps families better understand the perspective of their loved one, and gives them sound, practical ways to care for and support the person through treatment. When family members keep offering encouragement, faith, and hope, the person in recovery feels that support — and it makes lasting freedom from substances genuinely achievable.
At the same time, family therapy helps the person in treatment see more clearly how addiction has affected both themselves and the people around them. Once the problem is truly understood, a healthier and more balanced set of relationships within the family can follow.
